Hello, students! Welcome to our class blog!
As I sit here writing this first post, summer is quickly coming to an end. As sad as that is (Hey, I like summer vacation, too!), I do look forward to meeting you very soon.
How exciting, and terrifying, the first days of high school can be! I have some of those same feelings of anticipation and anxiety now, and I have had quite a few more first days of high school than you have had.
You will learn and grow so much over the next four years, and you will make memories that will last a lifetime. It is up to you to decide what your memories will be. Will you look back at these four years with pride or will you look back with regret? Don't waste these years. They will go by so much more quickly than you can imagine right now. Before you know it, you will be graduating. Trust me.
Take advantage of the many opportunities available to you. Challenge yourselves and others to reach their full potentials, participate in your education, get involved in your school and community, and, above all, be kind to each other. After all, we are in this together. On that note, please let me know if there is anything I can do to help make your high school experience the best it can be.
I am looking forward to taking this journey with you and helping you realize your dreams. I will see you very soon!
